Your choices
You decide what is included in a service project. We do not need publicity permission to do the work.
Original before derivative
Original recordings and files stay distinguishable from transcripts, edits and later AI-assisted material.
Nothing invented
If a person never recorded an answer, MIA should not manufacture one and present it as theirs.
Human release decisions
AI will not decide death, capacity, safeguarding, family disputes or whether a recipient is emotionally “ready”.
Portable by design
The working prototype already supports archive export. The production goal is an open archive that remains understandable outside MIA.
Honest product status
Secure hosted accounts, cloud storage, MFA, contributor permissions and verified future-release workflows are not presented as live until they are.

Registration is not the same as accreditation, and MIA will not blur that distinction. These public records and commitments show who stands behind the service and where accountability sits.

ORVIA is an independent private company. These trust signals do not make ORVIA a regulator, inspectorate or law firm, and they do not create statutory powers or an external accreditation of MIA’s product claims.
Founder accountability
There is a named person behind the service.
John McGill is the founder of ORVIA Oversight. ORVIA’s public profile records senior operational responsibility across independent ambulance services, regulated care, local government and overseas security, with professional development in advanced safeguarding, health and social care leadership and strategic management.
MIA is deliberately being built with the same ORVIA principle that evidence should remain distinguishable from inference, originals should not be silently replaced, and human judgement should remain accountable.
Plain English
What MIA will not promise prematurely.
We will not promise “forever storage”, “guaranteed permanence”, zero staff access, or a production cloud security model until the actual technical and contractual mechanisms exist underneath those statements.
Publicity is separate.
Our Founding Pilot Programme is designed so service participation and public case-study consent are separate choices. A person can receive the full service and keep the entire project private.
Presence stays constrained.
The intended direction is simple: retrieve what somebody actually recorded first. Any future generated representation requires separate governance, consent and clear disclosure.
