MIA should not collect advertising or analytics data simply because a page can.

Current launch position

The launch website should use only cookies or similar storage needed for the site and payment/onboarding functions unless a separate consent mechanism is in place for non-essential analytics or advertising technologies.

Stripe

When you choose to pay, you move to Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe may use its own cookies or similar technologies to provide payment, fraud-prevention and security functions under its own notices.

Meta advertising

Do not activate the Meta Pixel, Conversions API or other non-essential advertising tracking on MIA pages until the cookie/consent implementation and Privacy Notice have been updated to match the actual configuration. Sensitive memory, health, bereavement or family-story content must not be sent to Meta as advertising event data.

Changes

When MIA adds analytics or other non-essential technologies, this page and the consent controls should be updated before those technologies are activated.
